Hello Houston Gulf Coast Chapter Members and Followers! Wishing a safe and Happy Thanksgiving to you and your loved ones.
A few announcements as the holiday season kicks into full gear:
- AACN HGCC has once again partnered with El Centro de Corazon to sponsor Christmas for a family this year. We are happy to share that we have already been able to purchase a dryer for the family! Please see the "Community Outreach Events" tab on Nursing Network to learn more information about the family and view their wish list. Please consider a holiday donation if you are able; you can either purchase a gift from the wish list (and update the spreadsheet accordingly) or send a monetary donation (any amount helps!) using the QR codes for Venmo or Zelle, on the flyer. You can bring the gifts to our December 7th chapter meeting.
-Since the fourth Thursday this month is Thanksgiving, we will be holding our board meeting on the fifth Thursday, November 30th at 7:30pm. All are welcome to join; see link below, or it can be found on Nursing Network under "News and Announcements".
-Sign-up is open for volunteering with AACN HGCC in major medical at the Chevron Houston Marathon! Check out the link on the "Community Outreach Events" for more information.
