Dear Houston Gulf Coast Chapter Members,

It is with great honor and heartfelt enthusiasm that I step into the role of President of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, Houston Gulf Coast Chapter. I want to warmly welcome each of you to what I believe will be an exciting, inspiring, and impactful year ahead for our chapter.

As nurses, we are the heartbeat of healthcare—and as critical care nurses, we carry a deep responsibility and an extraordinary capacity to make a difference in the lives of our patients, our teams, and our communities. Our chapter is a shining example of the strength, resilience, and compassion that defines critical care nursing.

My vision for this year is centered around connection, professional growth, and empowerment. We will focus on providing valuable educational opportunities, fostering meaningful mentorship, promoting nurse well-being, and building strong community ties. Whether you’re a new member or a long-time supporter, I invite you to get involved, share your voice, and help shape the direction of our chapter.
